HONOR Magic3 Series Launched with IMAX Cinematic Video Recording and Snapdragon 888+

HONOR has just launched the HONOR Magic3 series comprised of the Magic3 and Magic3 Pro. Both Magic3 devices are the first to feature IMAX-enhancing which offers 3D LUT color grading profiles and video recording in the LOG format.

They are both built around a 6.76-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panels support 10-bit color output and have a pill-shaped cutout for its 13MP main camera and a 3D ToF depth sensor for improved face unlocking.

As far as the rear cameras go, they both share a 50MP Sony IMX 766 main camera along with a 64MP monochrome lens and a 13MP ultrawide sensor. Meanwhile, the Pro model packs a 64MP telephoto module with 3.5x optical zoom to round out the cameras.

Under the hood, the duo is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Additionally, they have 4600mAh batteries with support for 66W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Magic3 has an IP54 rating making it dust and water-resistant, while the Pro bumps up the rating to IP68. Both run on Android 11 with Magic UI 5, and yes it has Google Mobile Services.

The HONOR Magic3 is available in two synthetic leather colors – Golden Hour and Blue Hour and two classic colors – Black and White. The HONOR Magic3 Pro, on the other hand, comes in Golden Hours, Black, and White colorways.

The Magic3 retails for EUR 899, while the Magic3 Pro is priced at EUR 1,099.
