Xiaomi has just unveiled two new Redmi Smart TV X 2022 models at 55” and 65”. Both models feature 120Hz 4K displays and dedicated features to watching sports and gaming. This includes getting an official recommendation from the Chinese Xbox team.
The displays support HDR and Dolby Vision as well as cover 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Additionally, they come with calibration of deltaE around 2.
The new models are equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports that support variable refresh rates courtesy of FreeSync Premium. When you connect a console or PC, the TVs also switch to a gaming mode that lowers latency to 4 ms. Meanwhile, while watching videos or live TV, the footage can be converted to 120 fps.
Both TVs have a chipset with four Cortex-A73 cores accompanied by 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. They also run on MIUI for TV 3.0.
The TVs are equipped with two 12.5W speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Moreover, they have support for voice commands.
The 55” Redmi Smart TV X 2022 will sell for CNY 2,700, while the larger 65” option is priced at CNY 3,500. Both variants will go on sale on October 31 in China through the Xioami store and JD.com.
