TECNO CAMON 18 Series Introduced in the Philippines

TECNO Mobile has just officially launched the TECNO CAMON 18 series in the Philippines. The CAMON 18 series comprised of the TECNO 18 Premier, TECNO 18P, and TECNO 18 was first released internationally last month.

The CAMON 18 Premier in particular impresses with an Ultra-steady Gimbal Camera, 60x Hybrid Zoom, and more enhanced AI features for professional videography.

TECNO CAMON 18 Premier

The CAMON 18 Premier is built around a 6.7-inch FullHD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 500 nits. It also supports 100% NTSC and has a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.

The 32MP front camera is housed in a punch hole in the front of the device. The front camera features the Portrait Light Effect Mode which can lighten, darken, change, or remove the background completely.

Around the back, it has a 64MP main camera, a 12MP Ultra-steady Gimbal Camera with a widened frame, and an 8MP periscope lens. The last of which is powered by the Galileo algorithm engine and is capable of shooting at 5x optical zoom and a max of 60x hybrid zoom.

The 18 Premier is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It draws juice from a 4750mAh battery pack with support for 33W flash charging and is TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast-charge Systems certified.

The CAMON 18P packs a 6.8-inch 1080+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16MP selfie snapper. Meanwhile, the CAMON 18 shares the display and front camera but tones down the refresh rate to 90Hz.

The two devices also share a 48MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The 18P has a 13MP portrait unit, while the vanilla 18 has a 2MP macro lens to round out the triple camera setup.

The two devices also differ in SoC with the 18P running with a MediaTek Helio G96 while its vanilla sibling has a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. Both boast a 5000mAh cell but the 18P supports 33W fast charging while the 18 only goes up to 18W fast charging.

The CAMON 18 Premier is priced at PHP 15,990 and will officially be available on November 11, 2021, via the official TECNO Mobile stores on Lazada and Shopee. It is now available for pre-order for a special pre-order price of PHP 14,990 until November 10, 2021. Additionally, you can get special freebies if you pre-order.

TECNO CAMON 18 series PH launch

Meanwhile, the CAMON 18P is priced at PHP 10,990. It will be available on Shopee starting November 20 and on Lazada starting December 1. The CAMON 18 is available for PHP 9,499 starting November 20 on Lazada.

The CAMON 18P is now available for pre-order via Shopee with a special pre-order price tag of PHP 10,990 with freebies to boot. Meanwhile, the vanilla CAMON 18 can be pre-ordered via Lazada for PHP 8,999 and with freebies.

The Camon 18 series are also available at the TECNO Mobile Concept Store in SM North Edsa and TECNO Mobile Kiosks in Market Market, SM Mall of Asia, SM Sta Mesa, SM San Lazaro, SM Pampanga, SM Dasmariñas, SM Batangas, and SM Rosario.
