realme has announced that it will have a realme GT 2 series special event on December 20.
Prior to this, the brand confirmed that the realme GT 2 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
A lot of rumors and leaks that have come out since were centered around the top-specced Pro variant. Among these include a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is also said to have a 32MP front camera and a 50MP main camera coupled with a 50MP ultrawide lens and a telephoto sensor.
Additionally, it is believed that realme will unveil two versions of the GT 2 Pro, the other packing an under-display camera, similar to the Motorola Moto Edge X30.
Not much was revealed in the announcement poster aside from the realme GT 2 series special event taking place on December 20 at 9 AM GMT (or December 20 at 5 PM, Philippine Time) on the company Facebook and YouTube so we’ll have to wait for other details.
