What do Dragon Quest and Minecraft have in common? Your guess is as good as mine. One is a widely famous JRPG franchise and the other a Role playing Sandbox game of similar fame. Put these 2 together though and we have… Dragoncraft? MineQuest? This unlikely union called Dragon Quest Builders had proven to be a hit, enough in fact, that we now have Dragon Quest Builders 2. Check out our review to see if DQB2 is worth your time and money! Builders are evil! Evil, I tell you! For starters, DQB2 is a sequel, but knowledge of previous Dragon Quest entries (even the first DQB) isn’t needed to be able to appreciate this game. Whether you are a newcomer or a fan of the first game, DQB2 allows you to jump in and enjoy at your own pace. You’ll miss out on certain references to past titles, but it…

Leave it to the fans to come up with awesome custom versions of your favorite systems that sadly will not (or will it?) hit retail. This time around, the Nintendo Switch Lite gets the fan treatment with these awesome looking renders! All of the artwork below is fan-made, credits to the owners. I’m not sold on the Switch Lite but if any of these came out, take my money! The Suikoden and Persona 5 versions look especially sweet! Actually, there’s one more version and it could be, by far, the funniest, and it has it’s own custom Amiibo too! Now if only the battery life was a long lasting as the TV series, huh? Which one is your favorite version? Let us know in the comments below!

Nintendo has been dropping bombs lately. First with the Switch Lite, then this one. Just recently announced, a new and updated version of the Nintendo Switch is incoming which promises longer battery life. It’s not quite the “Pro” announcement we wanted, but this is still good news! The current Switch model runs at around 2.5-6.5 hours depending on a combination of game + settings but this updated model is said to run about 4.5-9 hours, at least a full 2 more hours of gameplay. As long time Switch owners, 2 hours is a HUGE deal so this is a very welcome upgrade. The new model will retail for around the same price as the launch model (around 30,000 Yen) and will release in Japan late August, and early September in Europe. No details yet of a wider North American and Asian release as of this writing. In other announcements, new…

The Switch Lite was recently announced and we shared our thoughts about what we liked and didn’t like about it. With 1 rumor down the drain, the talks of a “Pro” version would be the next logical headline. Will it have this? Will it sport that? While everything is pure speculation at this point, we do have some things we want to see if and when a Pro version is released. Check our our wish list for a Pro version of the Nintendo Switch! Better Screen Resolution The Switch isn’t the most powerful console around. Nintendo knows that and they’ve never really competed with Sony and Microsoft on that front. With the prospect of a Switch Pro, having a screen (and internals) that can handle full 1080p (from 720p) would be a nice upgrade. Oh, and smaller bezels, please? Producing a larger unit to accommodate a bigger screen automatically kills…

The jig is up. Once a rumor, Nintendo has finally popped the lid open on the Nintendo Switch Lite. It’s been met with mixed reviews, some unwarranted but most with valid points. Everyone is expecting a beefier Switch to be announced soon after, but for now we take a deeper look into the Switch Lite. In this article, let us answer the burning question for you – Should you (or shouldn’t) get a Switch Lite? Our resident gamers and Switch owners Gian and Chris talk about the pro’s and con’s of the newly announced addition to the Nintendo line! Chris (C): Ok I’m very underwhelmed, not because I was expecting the Switch “Pro” but because I cannot objectively see why I should get a Lite. I already have the OG Switch so getting anything other than a better version of the Switch will be a downgrade for me. Even if I…
