Ahead of the debut of the new Galaxy A-series smartphones in April 10, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A60 and Galaxy A70 have been certified by TENAA in China. Under the name Samsung Galaxy SM-A6060, the Galaxy A60 is listed to have a 6.3-inch display and a 3410 mAh battery. The published images point to an Infinity-O display, which is similar to that of the S10-series, as compared to the Infinity-U and Infinity-V screens that we’ve seen in other A-series devices. At the back of the Galaxy A60 is a vertical triple-camera setup with an LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is also visible, which means it will not have an in-display fingerprint sensor. Samsung isn’t slowing down with its product launches, as the latest in the Galaxy A family, the Galaxy A40, has just made its debut in Europe. The Galaxy A40 has a 5.9-inch Super AMOLED  Infinity-U display with full HD+ resolution. The phone is powered by an Exynos 7885 chipset, which is nearly identical to the Exynos 7904 used on the Galaxy A30. The Galaxy A40 comes in a single storage configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot. At the rear is a 16MP primary shooter and a 5MP ultra-wide angle camera. Tucked away in the U-shaped notched is its 25MP fixed focus selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. A Singaporean site leaked the best features of the Huawei P30 and the Huawei P30 Pro and their launch promos, days ahead of the launch. Buying a P30 or P30 Pro on launch day – April 6 – from the VivoCity mall will include a free Huawei Watch GT and JBL Clip 2 speaker. These are worth a total of SGD 467 (around PHP 18,188.64). The phones will offer an attractive gradient-colored exterior, high-end cameras with great low-light capability and most recently leaked Dual-View feature. Dual-View Video will be enabled after launch with an update. It creates a split-screen video with two of the rear cameras, showing a wide and zoomed-in view of the scene. On the road to the launch of the Huawei P30 series, Huawei released two more videos for the P30 Pro emphasizing its camera capabilities. More specifically, the zoom and the 3D ToF sensor on the back. The ZenFone Max Shot and Max Plus M2 are the first smartphones powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon System-in-Package (SiP) 1. This is a month after it was announced that Qualcomm would partner with Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) on a new semiconductor plant in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Max Shot will offer an extra 8MP wide-angle camera in the back while the Max Plus M2 will simply have a flash sensor in that spot. Both devices will have the same 6.26-inch FHD+ notched IPS panel. Update: GSMArena has amended the source article stating –  “The benchmark is spoofed by an unnamed custom ROM developer, according to XDA-Developers. There isn’t a Poco F1 Lite, nor a Xiaomi uranus is under development. The listings were edited and we were among the websites that fell for the immature joke.” The Pocophone F1 Lite – or Poco F1 Lite in India has popped up on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4GB RAM. It runs on Android Pie and scored 1,341 and 4,830 points in single and multi-core tests, respectively. What we don’t see, however, other specs like internal storage and display resolution. Another Xiaomi phone has also appeared on Geekbench with the codename “Uranus”. While it had the same score as the Poco F1 Lite, it scored slightly lower. Huawei has unveiled the toned down version of the Nova 4, named the Nova 4e. The Huawei Nova 4e comes with the Kirin 710 SoC with either 4GB or 6GB RAM. The smartphone also runs on Android Pie-based EMUI 9 and comes with 128 GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. The phone has a 6.15-inch 19.5:9 LCD display with 2312×1080 resolution. The display has a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen which houses the 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Huawei is set to unveil the P30 and Huawei P30 Pro on March 26. And after leaked renders revealed what the phones look like, the detailed specs of both devices have now surfaced online as well. The spec sheet reveals that both the P30 and P30 Pro will be powered by Huawei’s Kirin 980 flagship chip, run on Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1, and will have a 32MP camera on the front. Along with this, both phones will also have a USB Type-C port, NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and IP68 dust and water resistance. The P30 will have 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The Samsung Galaxy A90 appeared on the brand’s US page promoting exclusive Asphalt 9 content to Samsung owners.  The new phone is mentioned amidst the Samsung S10 family which may suggest that the Galaxy A90 will match the processing power and maybe even excel at gaming. Previous leaks point to a rotating pop-up camera, similar to that of the OPPO N1, and the phone is also expected to have a large battery to support long hours of gaming. OPPO Vice President, Brian Shen announced Reno – a new product line in the company’s portfolio, much to the surprise of many. In a post on Weibo, the company has posted comments on the post by Shen saying that Reno isn’t actually a sub-brand but a new product line. The assumptions couldn’t be helped, since Vivo announced the IQOO. Whether we’ll see Reno follow the path, similar to that of Realme which launched one device under the mother brand but later separated into a different entity, is something to wait and see. Source

Kumu.ph, a Philippine tech startup, is winning hearts and minds online with a live streaming platform that “prioritizes the voice of over 100 million Filipinos around the world.” Kumu is on track to February closing with over 9M app visits which will place the live streaming app right up there in terms of traffic with major Philippines news and media companies like Inquirer.net, ABS-CBN.com, and GMAnetwork.com. The visits come from under half a million registered users who on average visit the app more than 30 times a month. OPPO has finally unveiled the F11 and the F11 Pro in India, following a string of rumors and leaks. The OPPO F11 Pro has a 6.53-inch full HD+ LCD Panoramic screen with 2340×1080 resolution.
