Earlier, we posted articles about the new Huawei Mate X, the brand’s first foldable smartphone/tablet with 5G capabilities. And just a few minutes ago, at Huawei’s event at MWC in Barcelona, the device has finally made its official debut, albeit a slight veil of secrecy. So let’s talk about what is known, so far. The Huawei Mate X sports three displays, 6.6 inches at the front, 6.38 inches at the back, and an 8-inch display in tablet mode. Under the hood is the Kirin 980 SoC paired with the company’s Balong 5000 modem which gives the Mate X its 5G capabilities. Yes, that means ultrafast downloads for you.
