Kim Pauig never wanted photojournalism. She only got into it because she wanted to own a DSLR camera. She got what she yearned for in 2012 when she bought a Canon 500D. She didn’t realize though that it will change her life and others in the process. She later fell in love with the subject she didn’t like and joined a few campus publications. She then ended up to be an intern at an international news wire agency, Agence France-Presse. Kim’s story didn’t end there, as it was just a facet of her colorful and frame-worthy snippet of life with cameras and photography. Last month, her cousins recommended her to join AirAsia Travel Photographer 2016. She was later announced as one of the top finalists of the said competition.
