After DxOMark teased the camera of the OnePlus 7 Pro, the device has finally been launched. The new phone from OnePlus marks up at an overall score of 111 just one point shy of the Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. Based on the photos from GSMArena, it shows a wide dynamic range that preserves both highlights and shadow details. This is expected given its high score in DxOMark. Their shots in sunny conditions also show beautiful color reproduction with neutral white balance and strong saturation. The camera also does well in controlling the noise, especially in brighter lit scenes. But according to the report, the same can’t be said in lower light with noise being more noticeable in dark parts. Samsung’s new triple-camera setup on the Galaxy S10 and S10+ is one of the key selling points of the handset. DxOMark thinks the same as well. With an overall score is 109, the two devices in fact, match the Mate 20 Pro and the P20 Pro. The photo and video scores of the Galaxy S10+ are 114 and 98, respectively, same with the Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro’s camera scores. However, where the Galaxy S10+ excels is the selfie department. In fact, the selfie score of the Galaxy S10+ takes the lead with the Note 9 following closely behind along with the Pixel 3.
