Today, we’re doing a full scale comparison between two mid-range devices from two respectable brands – one sports a standard design, and the other is the company’s first to have a motorized camera system. We’ll be diving into the various aspects of each device – design, performance, camera, software, and battery life. At the end of each section, a winner will be declared and will be given a point. Earlier today, Samsung introduced two new mid-range devices to the Philippine market – and from the looks of it, Samsung has changed its strategy, as the Galaxy A30 and A50 both sport an impressive specsheet and are priced very competitively. Both boast vivid 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED displays with FHD+ resolution. The A30 packs an Exynos 7904, while the A50 has an Exynos 9610. Both are octa-core processors. The former comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the latter has 8GB and 128GB. The Galaxy A30 has a dual rear camera setup which includes an ultra-wide angle lens. The Galaxy A50 on the other hand, has three rear shooters, one for low-light, one for 123° ultra wide shots, and one for depth sensing. Looks like Samsung isn’t stopping with its series of product launches this early 2019, as we’ve received notice that the company is also set to introduce the Galaxy A30 and A50 to the Philippine market very soon. Both devices are made to conquer the mid-range scene with a decent specsheet and competitive pricing (hopefully). Both devices sport a 6.4″ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display at FHD+ resolution. The Galaxy A30 is powered by an Exynos 7904 while the Galaxy A50 runs on an Exynos 9610, both octa-core processors. The A30 has 4GB of RAM, whilt the A50 can have up to 6GB of RAM. Ahead of the launch of the new flagship from Samsung, the specs of the 2019 Galaxy A series phones have been reported. The report reveals the three phones, Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50. The Samsung Galaxy A10 will have a glossy plastic design. It will have a 6.2-inch Infinity-V display with HD+ resolution. The V-shaped notch will house a 5MP front-facing camera while on the rear it rocks a 13MP shooter. The phone will use an Exynos 7884B processing chipset with an octa-core 1.6GHz CPU. This will be paired with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The phone will have dedicated slots for two SIM cards and a microSD card. It packs a 4000mAh battery, a microUSB port, and 5W charging.
