The smartphone revolution is upon us. While brands present us with plenty of impressive choices of flagship smartphones, we take note of a few amazing ones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the Apple iPhone XS Max. However, consumers have started to take into account the benefits they can get than just having a slab of metal that they can use to take their next Instagram photo. For instance, Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s features are leaps beyond when directly compared to the bigger yet more expensive Apple iPhone XS Max. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvLSuAoy8R4 For a hardcore Android user, Samsung’s latest Note is bliss. It packs all the bells and whistles a Note has and features that only a powerful flagship smartphone possesses. It always sets a barometer that’s worthy of emulation; no wonder why other brands always look up to this smartphone as something they aim to beat. Design There are…

Not long after its unveiling at the company’s Unpacked event, Samsung’s newest flagship, the Galaxy Note 9 officially makes its debut in the Philippines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ou-XFMZz5I Built with enhanced usability in mind, the Galaxy Note 9 offers the same premium design language as the Note 8, now in a more symmetrical and less curvy form factor, complimented by a 6.4-inch QHD+ SuperAMOLED display. The PH variant will have an Exynos 9810 processor, along with up to 8GB of RAM. Samsung’s taking it a notch higher with storage capacity, as the Galaxy Note 9 comes in two configurations, 128GB, and 512GB. Yes, you’ve read that right. Combine that with a 512GB microSD card, and you’ll have 1TB of storage in your pocket. Thanks to a 4,000mAh power cell, the Note 9 sports the largest battery in the entire series. Samsung claims it as a 1-day battery. But we’ll see. Of course, what is…

Samsung just unveiled its newest Note device. And while there aren’t many groundbreaking things about it, at least hardware-wise, it does have a number things that may still make it a worthy upgrade to those coming from an older Note.  Even perhaps a great starter for those who are just getting into Samsung’s phablet lineup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ou-XFMZz5I More “Boxy” design When I first got hold of the Note 9, I immediately noticed the similar design language to the Note 8. But there was something a bit different about it, it was more symmetrical, and uses less curves. In some angles, it may even look like the bezels are slightly thicker than its predecessor. So did those things make it worse? not exactly. I actually like the way the device feels in the hand. The weight is just right, the position of the fingerprint sensor is just right, though it’s a bit…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gjaOtU3Mr0 Well, isn’t this what usually happens before a launch? oh wait. Anyway, a promotional video for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has surfaced online, revealing much of what the device’s new features will be. It’s allegedly from Samsung New Zealand, so this may be as official as it gets. Apart from showcasing the phone’s design, the video focuses on the added functionalities of the S-Pen, which comes in a yellow color, contrasting the Note 9’s blue color. There’s also a hint of massive storage, and an improvement in battery life. There’s a mention of “1 Terabyte Ready with Expandable Memory,” which probably means that the device will have 512GB of storage, expandable using another 512GB memory card. Rumor also has it that the Note 9 will have a 4,000mAh battery. In any case, the official reveal is just a few days away. As usual, we’ll be covering the event…

With much news about the Galaxy Note 9 floating around, it’s time to focus more on another aspect of the product, accessories. Recently, notable leak source Roland Quandt posted an image on his Twitter account, of what seems to be the Wireless Charger for the device. By the looks of it, it seems that this 25W charger can accommodate two devices. Perhaps, the new Samsung Galaxy Watch? We don’t know that yet. But we will, very soon, as the much-anticipated unveiling is set for August 9. Source via

Ahead of its official unveiling on August 9, bits of information about the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 have already surfaced online. The latest one is a render, showing the device in its full glory, and most importantly, in Lilac Purple Color. This isn’t really surprising, since the S9+ also has a Lilac Purple variant. What’s more interesting is that more or less, we now know how it looks like from the back. We aren’t certain as to how many cameras there are, but I think it’s safe to assume that the Note 9 will have a myriad of additional sensors that may be connected to photo quality. Up front, the device looks strikingly similar to the Note 8,  with Samsung’s signature Infinity Display, with slightly curved sides. We can also probably expect improvements to the S-Pen. In any case, there’s only a few weeks before the grand reveal. As usual, we’ll…

Samsung has finally sent invites about the Unpacked event that will be held in New York on August 9. Of course, we’re pretty sure that the Galaxy Note 9 will be the main star of the show. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will most likely carry over the same design, with the fingerprint scanner below the camera to avoid smudges on the lens. The poster also shows the S-pen button, which may translate to additional features and improvements from the Note 8.The processor that will be released in Europe, Middle East and Africa is the Exynos 9810 Octa-core while the US and China market will have the fastest processor in the market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. We should expect a 512 GB variant but it is safe to say that the variants will be 64GB/128GB/256GB with 6GB RAM. Source
