Huawei recently announced GPU Turbo and if it seems at first that the “turbo” designation means blazingly fast performance we can’t blame you. but, you’ll have to temper those expectations for now.   The touted new bump in performance did not show a considerable  boost in performance in the limited trial that was done. Still, Huawei is riding this tech development and is now upping the ante with “CPU Turbo” – which we’ll find in  the Kirin 970-powered Honor Note 10. Switching on  CPU Turbo is said to raise the clock speeds  and free up RAM. Like anything that needs some overclocking or boosting, it needs a way to keep temperatures to rise –  which is where “The Nine” – the Honor Note 10s featured cooling system. We all know that having a cooling system enables overclocking capabilities  but how about the power drain? Well, there’s a massive 5,000mAh battery which means power…

Honor has made an official announcement on its Weibo account, regarding the launch of its next flagship, the Honor Note 10. The event will be held on July 31 in Beijing, with a global launch also scheduled for August 30 in Berlin. Rumor has it that the Note 10 will have a huge 6.9″ display that uses an AMOLED panel. It was also spotted in Geekbench not long ago, revealing what’s most likely a Kirin 970 SoC along with 6GB of RAM. There’s no information on its cameras just yet, but we can probably assume that it’ll have at least a dual camera setup at the back with AI capabilities. Given the phone’s size, the battery may also be something to look forward to. A recent sighting in popular benchmarking site, Geekbench shows key specs of what could be the new Huawei Honor Note 10, as noted by its codename – Ravel (RVL). The device will run on Android 8.1 out of the box, presumably with EMUI. There’s also 6GB of RAM. Its processor is listed as an ARM v8 with 8-cores, clocked at 1.6GHz, which suggests that it’s the Kirin 970. There’s no information as to when the device will be officially launched, but we can probably guess that it’s coming very soon. Source
