Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 was released October of last year and since then, there have been some reports indicating an error on the camera and some wireless disconnections. The particular camera bug involves running into a black screen when opening the Camera app, while some are experiencing failures in opening the app itself. A software update was released to fix those bugs and errors. The changelog points out the optimization of the camera and a fix on issues wherein the phone could not connect to a hidden WLAN with strong signal. The notification dock has been optimized in which it can be used during the Ultra power saving mode. The fix also supposedly improves power consumption. Source | Via

Earlier today, our analytics product, Blip Track picked up a trending hashtag within the smartphone sphere globally. Since September 26, #OOOO started to peak up. An official tweet has revealed the exact date and and location where Huawei’s next Mate device will be unveiled. This also confirms that the Mate 10 will be powered by the new Kirin 970 chip that’s being marketed for as a mobile AI computing platform. We can also expect a full screen display, and more powerful Leica cameras. There’s still a month to go, but we’re very excited to know more about the newest member of the brand’s Mate series.
