HMD Global has one of most respected brands when it comes to timely and regular software updates to its devices. In fact, its entire portfolio of compatible devices are running Pie. The brand has recently released its Android 10 roadmap, revealing which devices are scheduled to receive the update first. and so-on. According to the roadmap, the Nokia 7.1, Nokia 8.1, and Nokia 9 PureView will get the update first in Q4 of 2019. Next would be the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and the Nokia 7 Plus. The Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 3.2, and Nokia 4.2 will get it in Q1 of 2020, along with the Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus, and Nokia 8 Sirocco. Of course, HMD Global had to have a surprise at IFA 2019, apart from the five Nokia devices that were unveiled. Turns out that the brand has decided to come out with a new product – wireless headphones. They named it the Nokia Power Earbuds. The Nokia Power Earbuds boast an IPX7 rating which means it’s waterproof at 1m for up to 30 minutes. It can deliver up to 150 hours of battery life, thanks to its 3,000mAh portable charging case that can charge the earbuds up to 30 times. (The buds can deliver up to 5 hours of up time per charge). Its graphene drivers allow it to deliver immersive sound, while Bluetooth 5.0 ensures seamless connectivity. Yes, you’ve read that right. The rumors which were pointing at a 5-camera device by Nokia were all true, it seems. But what’s even more amazing is that the new Nokia 9 PureView is even more than that. The Nokia 9 PureView sports a dual-glass and metal frame construction along, along with an IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. The Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 1 Plus have passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), revealing some nifty details about the two phones. On one hand, the Nokia 9’s design is nothing new but nevertheless, the labeling info is still interesting. The phone will be both a single and a dual SIM versions of the phone and the Android One logo is present. The labeling also reveals that the phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo. As for the Nokia 1 Plus, it will have a microUSB that will be charging the 2500mAh battery and will be bundled with a 5W charger. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack on top. The only notable difference is in terms of the RAM and storage. Unlike the Chinese variant, the global version is only available in a 4GB/64GB configuration, expandable using a microSD card. The device boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 84%, thanks to 5.86-inch HD+ screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The Nokia 5.1 Plus  has been spotted in Chinese certification agency, TENAA, and revealed some of the device’s key specs. The Nokia 5.1 Plus will have an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, possibly a MediaTek Helio P-series or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series. It will also come in 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, with an 32GB or 64GB of storage. With the “plus” moniker, it’s no surprise that it’s going to have a huge 5.86-inch display with with 720 x 1520 HD+ resolution. And, yes, with a notched design. HMD Global is set to announce its first take on the notch game. Finally, right? The Nokia X, which is also known as the Nokia X6. which has the model number of TA-1099.  A recent listing in TENAA, reveals some of its specs. The Nokia X will come with Android 8.1 Oreo and an octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.8 GHz. In addition to this, the TENAA listing did not indicate the specific processor used for the Nokia X but the clock speed matches with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. There will be three RAM options for the Nokia X – 3GB/4GB/6GB while storage has only two options – 32GB or 64GB. Inside the notch, you’ll find the selfie camera and the earpiece.
