At its recent event, OnePlus, the brand which creates smartphones that literally disrupt the market with top of the line specs and outrageously competitive pricing, has lifted the curtain on its newest creations. Meet the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus 7 Pro This year, the company has opted to make a Pro version for its popular smartphone. The OnePlus 7 Pro benefits from a slew of  improvements in almost every aspect from its physical design, to performance, camera, battery, and software. Starting with the display, it boasts a  6.67-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, allowing for smoother and more fluid visuals. It’s also able to render HDR10+ colors, for a more immersive viewing experience. The notch is no longer here in favor of a motorized mechanism that houses the 16MP front camera. Following leaks of the two colors of the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro, a third color has surfaced in renders that look pretty official. This third color is reportedly called Almond and looks to be a lighter gold color. The design is pretty much the same as other previous leaks have shown. An alleged photo of the OnePlus 7 has recently surfaced online, revealing what looks to be a notch-less display, and perhaps, a sliding design for the front camera. The photo also shows that the glass on both sides are slightly curved, something you’d find in a Samsung device, or from the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Now, the source suggests that this could just be one of those photoshopped images floating around, so it would be best to hold out on any conclusions. While the technology isn’t exactly new, it’s good to see OnePlus stepping up its game in achieving a true full screen. If the image is actually genuine, that is. Other phones with similar mechanisms would be the OPPO Find X, and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The OnePlus 7 is expected to arrive in May. Source via
