LG has launched a budget friendly smartphone named the X2. It’s powered by a quad-core Snapdragon SoC, and has a 5-inch HD display,  2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There’s an 8MP camera on the back, and a 5MP selfie snapper on the front. It measures 144.8×71.9×8.2mm and weighs 152g. The X2 runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat and tucks in a 2,500mAh battery. The LG X2 has just been launched in Korea, where it carries a price tag of KRW 198,000 ($175 or Php 9,300). You can say it’s the faster and more updated version of the LG Stylus 2 but with lesser camera oomph. So, you think the X2 marks the entry level spot for LG? Source

The Nokia 5.1 Plus  has been spotted in Chinese certification agency, TENAA, and revealed some of the device’s key specs. The Nokia 5.1 Plus will have an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, possibly a MediaTek Helio P-series or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series. It will also come in 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, with an 32GB or 64GB of storage. With the “plus” moniker, it’s no surprise that it’s going to have a huge 5.86-inch display with with 720 x 1520 HD+ resolution. And, yes, with a notched design. Everyone wants a piece of the “Plus” pie, so it’s no surprise that the HTC Desire 12 low-end phone is having a bigger sibling, the HTC Desire Plus. The Plus variant will increase its’ screen by 8.9% (from 5.5″ to 5.99″) while keeping its 720 x 1440px resolution (268 ppi). The cameras also get a do-over. A single 13MP camera is housed at the back which claims to have tech that will allow for quality low-light performance while an 8MP camera does the snapping duties at the front. In a head-scratching video, Xiaomi teased its Mi Mix 2s  with no product shown. Instead, we are shown two hands  that at first, would come across as an unorthodox way of counting fingers. I wouldn’t have guessed what the gestures meant myself if not for the numbers “8, 4 and 5” that pop on the screen repeatedly.
