The Redmi 7 has be officialy released in China! The phone follows the Redmi Note 7 in offering a chipset and battery better than its price would suggest. It has a 6.26-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, and is powered by a Snapdragon 632 with eight CPU cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It has a dual camera setup in the back consisting of a 12MP main shooter with a 1/2.9-inch sensor size and a secondary 2MP sensor. At the front is an 8MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery with standard 10W charging and runs on MIUI 10, based on Android Pie out of the box. The Redmi 7 appeared on TENAA and this time around, it has been updated with images and full specs. The images reveal that the smartphone will come in at least one gradient color. It also shows the dual rear camera setup with LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. The Redmi 7 has a 6.26-inch LCD 1520×720 display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The photo shows a screen that’s turned off but clearly displays a single camera right in the middle which may mean that we’ll see a waterdrop notch for the smartphone. Redmi officially unveiled the Redmi Note 7 Pro, along with the Redmi Note 7 in India. Speculations were right in expecting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, 48MP camera, and up to 128GB storage on the Pro version. While the regular Note 7 has a 12MP main camera. The octa-core CPU of the Redmi Note 7 goes as high as 2GHz and is partnered with an Adreno 612 GPU. Knowing Xiaomi for years, the company specializes in developing budget smartphones and delivering outstanding marketing strategies.
