ROG Theta Electret


ASUS ROG has just announced two new over-ear headsets at Computex 2019  – the ROG Theta and the ROG Theta Electret. The ROG Theta builds on the popularity of the ROG Centurion. The Theta employs eight discreet drivers and the first virtual-subwoofer technology to deliver 7.1 surround sound. The subwoofer not only helps bring 7.1 surround sound, but it also helps create an enveloping soundstage with deep bass. The new headset also benefits from an AI-powered noise-canceling microphone. It ensures clear in-game voice communication by employing machine-learning techniques to identify and cancel out 50-million varieties of external sound while accurately detecting and retaining the user’s speech. The Theta also has an ESS SABRE9601 quad amp and ROG-customized 7.1 DAC – the same as that used in high-end ROG motherboards.
