Despite the lack of a 3.5mm audio jack, it looks like Samsung is preparing to offer an audio dongle for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ The lack of a 3.5mm audio jack on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, at this point, is no secret. Various leaks and evidence have surfaced on the Internet that the company will finally ditch the headphone jack on the latest Note series. A new leak has surfaced that shows the 3.5mm audio jack dongle.  While it doesn’t look too different from any existing audio dongle, it is good to know that future users of the Note 10+ will have a workaround. Roland Quandt published on Twitter a couple of images of Samsung’s take on the USB-C to 3.5mm audio dongle that will launch with the Note 10+. However, it was not confirmed whether or no the audio dongle comes with the phone out of…

CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro surfaced earlier this month, and gave us an idea of how the phones look like. Now, official Olixar cases of both versions on a UK retailer’s website of the upcoming Note 10 duo shows the design of the phones. Both Note 10 and Note 10 Pro will come with a vertically aligned camera set-up that sits on the top-left corner of the back. The Note 10 features a triple-camera setup while the Note 10 Pro will get an extra shooter. The cases also confirm that the power button and volume rockers are positioned on the left side. One thing absent from the phone is the Bixby button which was introduced in 2017 on the Samsung Galaxy S8. A report has also surfaced stating that the new Note 10 phones will come with a Sound on-Display technology which eliminates the…

The Samsung Galaxy Fold, the first foldable smartphone from the company, was initially unveiled in February alongside the new Samsung S10 series. While it was an exciting announcement from the South Korean tech company that has also shown promise, the Galaxy Fold has also faced setbacks in recent times after its fragility was exposed. The company has since released a statement on their new smartphone. They officially announced that they will delay the release of the Galaxy Fold to fully evaluate the feedback and run further internal tests. They will announce the release date in the coming weeks. Along with this, they mention: “Initial findings from the inspection of reported issues on the display showed that they could be associated with impact on the top and bottom exposed areas of the hinge. There was also an instance where substances found inside the device affected the display performance. We will take…

The Samsung Galaxy A90 appeared on the brand’s US page promoting exclusive Asphalt 9 content to Samsung owners.  The new phone is mentioned amidst the Samsung S10 family which may suggest that the Galaxy A90 will match the processing power and maybe even excel at gaming. Previous leaks point to a rotating pop-up camera, similar to that of the OPPO N1, and the phone is also expected to have a large battery to support long hours of gaming. Samsung’s A-series has left a mark that breaks the mold of design and features, and the Galaxy A90 may be another one to look forward to. Source

Time to bedazzle your Samsung Galaxy S10 with the LED back cover! Samsung announced quite an ecosystem of accessories and cases that go along with the Samsung Galaxy S10 series, and one of the more unique ones is the LED back cover, exclusive to the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. The snap-on style case has a battery battery of its own to power the LED lights. Using a dedicated app, you can change the design of the LEDs on the back of the case. The case may have limited presets within the app but having a case that lights up your Galaxy S10 is just too cool to pass on. The broader variety of case options just brings so much life to an already exciting phone.

Got one of those Samsung flagship phones?  Well, you’d be pleased that Samsung toyed with the Always On Display (AOD) so that you have more excuses to look at that gorgeous screen. While you could always add any image to your Always On Display while displaying the date, time and any notifications,  Samsung thought they’ll make it more awesome by enabling you to install GIFs. Version 3.2.26.4 of the app enables you to set any GIF to  your AOD by opening the GIF in the Gallery app and selecting the overflow menu (…), then tapping “Set as Always on Display image”.  However, GIFs do come in various lengths and if the application detects that what you’ve picked is too long, it’ll prompt you to trim it down. Also, the GIFs only animate once upon locking the display. It then locks to one frame after the GIF cycle is done. The…

With the imminent launch of the next Galaxy, which is of course, the S9 (and S9+?), Samsung is inviting everyone to register to watch its Unpacked event this February 26, 1 AM local time, at MWC in Barcelona via live stream. Samsung says that the event is “set to change the way you see the world, as it reveals the re-imagined camera.” This suggests that the upcoming device(s) may have something else up their sleeves apart from most likely sporting improved dual camera systems. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are expected to be equipped with nothing but top-of the line components – the Snapdragon 845, 4GB to 6GB of RAM, Samsung’s signature Infinity Displays with at least FHD+ resolution, and Android Oreo. You still have until tomorrow, December 22 to register. A few lucky participants will also win an exclusive invite to the Galaxy Media event happening in March. To register,…

In an exclusive event held earlier today, Samsung Philippines launched the Galaxy J7+, a mid-range device powered by an octa-core processor, and the second device in the entire Samsung lineup to sport a dual camera system along with the recently-launched Note 8. The Galaxy J7+ has 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen that oozes with vibrancy, and is a treat for media consumption. Driving this device is a MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.4GHz. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with microSD card support. The dual rear camera system is composed of a 13MP main sensor, complimented by a 5MP secondary sensor. The J7+ main cameras are capable of Live Focus, a feature introduced on the Note 8. It allows the user to adjust the intensity of the Bokeh effect before and after a shot is taken. At the front is a 16MP camera…

Samsung has just launched the newest member of the Galaxy Note lineup, the Galaxy Note 8 with an enhanced S-Pen and a new dual camera system. Hands-on Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGdq3OrG8XE Design and Build Quality The Galaxy Note 8 sports the same form factor and overall design as the S8 and S8+, and I think that’s a good thing. The phone feels very solid and well-built, and the Infinity display just looks gorgeous with very minimal bezels and curved edges. The display responds well to the s pen, and buttons on both sides are tactile. There’s a dedicated button for Dixby, Samsung’s own voice and visual assistant. It’s a unique and refreshing take, but I don’t really see the need for it. The Note 8 keeps the headphone jack and has the same speakers as the Galaxy S8+. Display The Note 8 sports a 6.3-inch WQHD+ SuperAMOLED Infinity Display, which I think…
