Xiaomi and Vocaloid are collaborating once again in releasing a Hatsune Miku phone after last year’s Redmi Note 4X . The Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Edition is in turquoise color with the virtual idol engraved at the back, Limited only to 5,000 units, the retail box includes a 10,000 mAh power bank, a translucent case with a colored Hatsune Miku and a gift card. The Mi 6X runs MIUI 9.5 and comes with exclusive themes that any fan of the vocaloid will love. The internals are no different from the regular Xiaomi Mi 6X – Snapdragon 660 with octa-core CPU, dual 12 MP + 20 MP camera and a 5.99” Full HD+ display with 6GB ram and 64GB storage. The price of the Hatsune Miku edition package is CNY2,099 or about Php 16,858. The phone is already available for pre-order in China, and should be out by July 10. No news yet…

Xiaomi is essentially known as the company that slashes the price of gadgets in half but still includes the top tier features we like. Nowadays, the notch has become a trend for smartphones but other than that, it also includes high end camera features together with Artificial Intelligence. Just two days ago, Xiaomi revealed the Mi 6X – an affordable mid-range smartphone with camera AI features. By camera AI, Xiaomi mainly focuses on object recognition – something we’ve seen with Samsung’s Bixby and Google Lens. One good example of this is that the camera can translate text from manuals and even tell you how many calories a particular food has. A few days ago, Xiaomi smartphone codenamed Mi 6X surfaced in TENAA. Rumor has it that the said phone is expected to be launched as Xiaomi Mi A2.   Well, a leak just surfaced that also confirms a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. An Octa-core Snapdragon 626 chipset clocked at 2.2GHZ powers the handset while running Android Oreo 8.1. 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage comes standard but is expandable. The leak also reveals a dual camera setup using  f/2.0 20 MP and f/1.8 8 MP sensors , accompanied by an LED flash. The selfie cam, on the other hand sports a 20 MP snapper. The fingerprint scanner will be placed on the rear panel. Battery-wise, a the Xiaomi Mi A2 will be using a 2910 mAh battery which is a tad smaller in capacity compared to the previous model. Source
