Today, we’re taking a look at the newest addition to ASUS’ lineup of battery-focused ZenFone Max series, and the follow up to the very successful ZenFone Max Pro M1, the ZenFone Max Pro M2. Specifications Unboxing https://youtu.be/K2NZs8Gy4MI A Different Approach to Design, and I Like It Unlike its predecessor, the ZenFone Max Pro M2 uses a “notched” approach for its 6.3-inch display, which also sticks to a Full HD+ resolution. I’ve always loved the screens on ZenFones for their liveliness. And happily, this one follows through – colors are punchy, text is sharp, and viewing angles are decent. It’s also one of the first few devices to utilize the new Corning Gorilla Glass 6, which means it should be able to withstand a few “accidental drops.” The device uses a triple slot tray, located on the left side, while all the buttons are placed on the opposite side. Obviously, some…

The much-anticipated ZenFone Max Pro M2 has finally made its debut in the Philippines. Tagged as the new “Battery King”, this phone features a new design which utilizes a more curvy back panel, along with an upgraded processor, better optics, while still promising to deliver the bread and butter of a Max device – outstanding battery life. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 has a 6.3-inch notched display with FHD+ resolution, and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU with AI capabilities, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage expandable with a microSD card. This is a much-needed boost over the M1’s  Snapdragon 636, plus the added RAM gives you more room for multi-tasking. At the back of the device is an AI-Assisted dual rear camera system composed of a 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor for adding a depth of field effect to…

While we already know that the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 is set for its official launch this December 11. But earlier today, the company was generous enough to give its fans a sneak peak of the new “Battery King.” The device was seen in its full glory, with its 3D finish, the large display, and a smaller notch. Another notable characteristic of this phone is how thin it is, especially considering the rumored 5,000mAh inside. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 will be in showcase at the company’s Battle Royale event at the SM Mall of Asia from December 7 to 8, 2018. Unfortunately, they didn’t reveal much of the device’s other specs. Don’t worry though, because we’re here to give you the latest updates on launch day, so stay tuned!

ASUS has been teasing the arrival of a new smartphone on its social media page, and to date, everything points at the successor to the ZenFone Max Pro M1, which was a hit, thanks to its good mid-range specs and competitive pricing. The teaser doesn’t give away much about the device’s actual specifications, but based on what’s in there, it will most likely have a 19:9 screen, perhaps with FHD+ resolution. The back panel sports a glossy finish and is slightly curved on the sides. The dual cameras are most likely AI-assisted, with the second one used for depth sensing. Being a member of the Max lineup, it’s expected that this phone will come with a huge battery, perhaps a 5,000 mAh power pack, hopefully with some form of fast-charging. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 is set to be launched in the country on December 11, where the rest of…
