Today marked another incredible day for the Republic of Gamers with the launch of the ROG Strix GL702ZC, the world’s first gaming laptop to be powered by AMD’s powerful Ryzen processors.
Ryzen processors are built on AMD’s Zen architecture and also features AMD SenseMI technology along with superb multi-tasking capability, catering to the needs of consumers with competitive responsiveness and performance.
The GL702ZC sports the familiar ROG design with its brushed metal finish, measuring 415 x 280 x 34 mm (WxDxH). Equipped with a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS Display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, you are assured of smooth and fluid gameplay every single time.
In terms of ports, the GL702ZC has got all the bases covered. There are three high-speed USB ports, a USB Type-C port, a headphone jack, a card reader, a dedicated LAN port, an HDMI port, a Mini Display Port, and a Kensington lock slot.
The GL702ZC is driven by either the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor with 6 cores and 12 threads, or the more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor with a whopping 8 cores and 16 threads for maximum performance and seamless multi-tasking.
It can house up to 32GB of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM, along with support for up to 512GB SSD and 1TB HDD storage options. In charge of the graphics department is an AMD RX 580 GPU with 4GB of GDDR5 memory which lets you game at the highest possible settings even in today’s most demanding titles.
