OPPO has just taken off the curtain on its newest selfie centric smartphone, the OPPO F5, featuring an 18:9 full screen display, a powerful octa-core processor, and AI Beauty Tech for great looking selfies.
The OPPO F5 sports a huge 6-inch 18:9 FHD+ display, and is driven by the new MediaTek MT6763T octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz. It also has 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD card support, and a 3,200mAh battery.
For imaging, the F5 is equipped with a 16MP rear camera, along with a 20MP front camera fortified with screen flash and AI Beauty technology, which analyzes certain points of your face, determining age, gender, and other aspects to optimize each shot for the best output.

The device also features Game Acceleration, which optimizes the display to maximize the potential of the phone’s hardware, while also blocking notifications and hiding the on-screen buttons to prevent mistouches. The phone can also be unlocked with fast facial recognition. It runs on ColorOS 3.2 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat.
The OPPO F5 will retail for PhP15,990, and can now be pre-ordered from OPPO Concept Stores, Lazada, Abenson.com, and authorized retailers until November 3. Those who will pre-order will also get a free Olike Speaker worth PhP2,990. The F5 will be available in stores starting November 4, 2017. As a special promo, customers who will purchase an F5 in November will also get the chance to win a luxury item worth PhP70,000!.
The OPPO F5 will also be available on Smart’s Plan 599 starting this November.
