A few days ago, Huawei revealed the roadmap of its EMUI 9.1 update, and now, its already available in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
The first set of devices that will receive the update are the Mate 20 series, and the P20 Lite. I just checked my Mate 20 Pro, and it’s already notifying me of the EMUI 9.1 update. Again, the rollout may be gradual, so the update may not appear on all devices at the same time.
To check if the update is already available in your device, you can go to Settings – System – Software Update or use the HiCare app.
EMUI 9.1 brings a ton of new features and improvements, including EROFS which delivers better random read performance, GPU Turbo 3.0, which reduces power consumption by up to 10%, and Moon Mode.
