Huawei FreeBuds 3 Review 2

Reason #1: It is way more affordable but more capable

Huawei FreeBuds 3 Review 32Huawei FreeBuds 3 has active noise cancellation and may be charged wirelessly. What more can your friend ask for (except for an additional wireless charger that Huawei also sells)? Even Apple’s most “affordable” Airpods (Generation 1) does not have these features, and it will still cost you PhP500 more.

And yes – it is available in two colors: black and white!

Reasons #2: It sounds great!

For a true wireless earphone, FreeBuds 3 has a balanced sound signature at boot. Most earphones are designed and tuned to have this signature, and Huawei wanted to make sure that it resonates with most users.

Huawei FreeBuds 3 Review 41Having tried various frequency settings using this application, I am impressed with the sound quality of FreeBuds 3. Its 14mm driver is capable enough to handle all types of music – even the ones that require a powerful pair of drivers. Music with an emphasis on bass exudes tight and punchy sound while balancing preserving other elements. Quality is at par, if not better, than my Apple Airpods Generation 1 and even my Sennheiser Momentum IEM.

Reason #3: It is powered by a powerful chipset for intelligent accessories

Huawei FreeBuds 3 is powered by Kirin A1.

kirin a1 chip devices gadgetpilipinasFor a new chipset by Huawei dedicated to wearables and accessories, Kirin A1 in FreeBuds 3 proved to be highly capable and special in many ways.  For a 4.3×4.4mm chipset, it’s unimaginably packed with a Bluetooth processing unit, an ultra-low-power application processor, audio processing unit and an efficient power management unit. It is designed to have lower latency and power consumption. This is the chipset responsible in making Huawei’s latest TWS earphones with ANC intelligent and performs as advertised.

Reason #4: It fits perfectly well in your friend’s ears!

FreeBuds 3 is more comfortable to wear (compared to Apple Airpods) and help up pretty well in my ears. I shook my head intensely, and it didn’t even fall off (what a necessary sacrifice, don’t you think).

Huawei FreeBuds 3 Review 26Unlike in-ear monitors (IEM), open-fit earphones have minute spaces where noise can easily permeate. This, however, is more comfortable to wear than IEMs and (subjectively) better for long term usage. Such is the case of the Huawei FreeBuds 3. Huawei calls it Dolphin Bionic Design, and no matter how some people would call it an “Airpods” design clone, it is technically different in many ways.

Reason #5: It works perfectly well on any smartphone

Huawei FreeBuds 3 Review 17Just like any Bluetooth smartphones, Huawei FreeBuds 3 works perfectly well on any smartphone, be it Android or iOS. Your buddy can just simply press and hold the pair button and FreeBuds 3, and their Android or iOS can view it pair it via Bluetooth device settings.

Wouldn’t it be nice to get one for your buddy and for you as well this holiday season?

FreeBuds 3 is now available for preorder via Abenson. Another good news is that the first (1st) fifty (50) customers to register online will get a FREE HUAWEI Band 4e worth PHP 1,390!

Get the FreeBuds 3 from today all the way to January 5, 2020. Upon purchase of select Huawei smartphones, Huawei will slash PhP 2,000 off of the FreeBuds 3’s retail price of PhP 8,990.
