Huawei has just announced the Huawei FreeBuds 4 in China. The Huawei FreeBuds 4 is the latest addition member of the company’s flagship TWS.
The FreeBuds 4 shares a similar design to the FreeBuds 3 and packs a Huawei Kirin A1 chip in the earbuds themselves. In addition, they are IPX4 splash resistant.
The earbuds feature 14.3mm dynamic drivers, three-level touch controls, and three microphones. The last is used for voice and surrounding noise pick-up. They also have active noise cancellation that is said to reduce up to 25dB of surrounding noise.
They connect via Bluetooth 5.2 and support simultaneous connection to two devices. They also have a Special Clear Voice Mode that promises to pick up your voice better in a noisier environment, ideal for vloggers or content creators. In addition, the new earbuds have a low latency mode that lowers audio latency down to 90ms for better audio in gaming sessions.
As far as battery goes, the earphones themselves offer 4 hours of playback and up to 22 hours of playback with the charging case. The company says a 15-minute charge will give you up to 2.5 hours of playback. The case charges via USB-C port and also supports Qi wireless charging.
