realme has just announced the realme GT 5G will be released globally on June 15 at 5PM, Philippine Time.
The GT 5G is the company’s flagship that focuses on performance. It was launched in China in early March packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The device also features a 6.43-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.
Joining the Snapdragon 888 was 8/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, it supported 65W wired fast charging for its 4500mAh battery.
Around the back, it has a 64MP triple rear camera. Nothing as impressive in the camera department as the realme 8 series, which is expected.
The global launch of the realme GT 5G is definitely exciting but we’ll just have to wait and see for the price tag that comes along with it especially with the hashtag that the company used, #FlagshipKiller2021.
