Samsung Launches the Galaxy S10 Lineup in PH!

Just days after their debut in the US, Samsung is celebrating the arrival of its newest flagships in the Philippines. Welcome, the new Samsung Galaxy S10+, S10, and S10e.

all s10All sport a new design, and are packed with features that cater to those who want the ultimate entertainment and productivity experience. These are the three devices that mark the 10th year of the Samsung Galaxy Smartphone.

The king of the pack, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ sports the new punch hole design for its dual front camera system that can take UHD selfies. Its new Infinity-O display and oozes with detail, giving the phone an astonishing 90% Screen-to-Body Ratio. It uses a Dynamic AMOLED screen which supports HDR10+, gives better color-accuracy, and is more gentle to the eyes.

Under the hood is a powerful Exynos 9820 octa-core processor, backed by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It runs on Samsung’s One UI and houses a 4,100mAh battery.

The Galaxy S10, is basically everything the S10+ is, only slightly smaller with its 6.1-inch display, has less the amount of storage, and single front camera. It still boasts an Infinity-O display with an Exynos 9820 processor at the helm, backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also packs a smaller 3,400mAh battery.

The Galaxy S10+ comes in four colors – Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green and Ceramic White (12GB/1TB storage), while the S10 only comes in two – Prism White and Prism Black.

Both the Galaxy S10+ and S10 are equipped with a triple rear camera system – one telephoto, one wide-angle, and a third super wide angle camera that gives you a 123° field of view. It also boasts Intelligent Scene Recognition, which can now identify up to 30 scene categories, along with AR Emoji with body tracking.

Both are also the world’s first smartphones to make use of an Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which can learn and recognize the 3D characteristics of your fingerprint, making it less-prone to spoofing.

For those who prefer a more compact device with no compromise in performance, there’s the Galaxy S10e. It utilizes a 5.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, and is powered by the same processor as the S10 and S10+, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Unlike its bigger siblings, the S10e also retains a more traditional fingerprint scanner, located on the side.

The S10e may only have the wide-angle and super wide-angle lens of its bigger siblings, but it still has Dual Aperture mode for switching between f/1.5 and f/2.4 for great low light shots. It runs on Samsung’s One UI and packs a 3,100mAh battery. It only comes in Prism White color.

All three devices support wired and wireless fast-charging, and Wireless Power Share, which allows for charging a compatible device just by placing them against the phone.

Pricing, Pre-Order, Availability

All three Galaxy S10 devices are available for pre-order until March 3, and comes with your choice of freebies. All three will be available in stores starting March 8, 2019.

Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S10+, S10, and S10e starts at PHP55,990PhP49,990 and PHP39,990 respectively, while the Pre-Order exclusive S10+ Ceramic White will cost PhP89,990.

Samsung is also launching new cases for the Galaxy S10, including an LED case that’s customizable, and Marvel-Themed cases that affect the UI of the phone when used. Then there’s the Galaxy Watch Active, and the Galaxy Fit/Fit E – devices that allow you to keep track of your health and fitness goals.

You can also purchase a Wireless Charger Duo Pad, which can charger both the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy S10 at the same time, and offers 36% faster charging. For on-the-go use, there’s the Wireless Combo Charge accessory, a powerbank that can charge devices wired and wirelessly.
